Six years ago, on this day in 2014, we aired our first episode of Bodega Pop Live on WFMU's Give the Drummer Radio. 

Tonight, from 7-10 PM ET, we're serving up a seven-set suite to christen our seventh season, featuring sex-positive reggae, silver-age Brasilian hip hop, Moroccan superstars Jil Jilala, psychedelic Indonesian, Egyptian chanteuse Nagat al Saghira's sweetest, a small selection of Perestroika rock, plus a handful of favorite tracks from the bodega.
